Although summer is typically the busiest season for vacations in Destin, make sure to check out fall and winter rates. The weather during the winter is still comfortable and sunny and there are plenty of things to do close by that are budget friendly.

One annual local attraction for families is the Destin Fishing Rodeo which takes place between October 1st through October 31st. This even has activities “Just for Kids” including fishing contests, Halloween festivities and fireworks! The fun atmosphere of music and booths serving tasty and quality food is perfect entertainment for the whole family.
